First Thursday Horse Auction

This is the sale to attend in this part of the country, whether you are buying or selling. Sellers as well as buyers come from several states to the Tulsa Stockyards on the first Thursday of each month for this sale. If you have horses, tack, mules or ponies to sell, get them to the Tulsa Stockyards on the first Thursday of each month (no sale on 4th of July week). Tack starts at 4:00 pm; horses at 6:00 pm. The buyers are here... it's standing room only! On the other hand, if you are shopping for a saddle, horse, saddle mule or pony, you will have a wide selection to pick from! Everything from trail riding horses and saddle mules to sure enough ranch horses! Ponies, too! All ridden horses and lead-ins sell first. Loose horses sell last.
